A Celebration of Living Legacies 2006: Garry Bartz, Nji Kai, Roger Jones
A Series of Performances Celebrating three of our community's Arts Icons.
This series of performances celebrate the work and community contributions of 3 major contributors to our arts community. For each performance, the program has been personally curated by each of the celebrated icons and scored by De'Sean Jones, Orchestra founder and conductor.
Each event will be a night of celebration, presenting musical flowers to these individuals. The even represents as salute to each for their contributions to the world.
The Urban Art Orchestra was founded in 2022, and is led by Kresge Arts Fell and 3-time NAACP Image Award winner De'Sean Jones.
All concerts begin at 7:30.
